Work Experience:

GlobalLogic UK&I (Hitachi) – December 2021 - Present

Test Architect:

• Lead Test Architect on a portfolio of projects, overseeing test teams working on SAP, Salesforce and Mulesoft integrations to test data flow, system integrations and data consistency. Addressing high quality deliverables, risk mitigation and resource optimisation.

• Leading performance testing of a data management system, load and stress testing a system that improved data flow efficiency by 40%, reducing strain on three other projects.

• Piloted Playwright automation frameworks for projects, assisting in the move from a redundant technology and teaching testers how to use these frameworks.

• Piloted API frameworks utilising Java, Cucumber and an HTTP Apache Client to test API calls automating previously manual processes and increasing productivity.

• Collaborated with cross-functional and international teams to define testing requirements, in addition to coordinating with enterprise stakeholders to define quarterly business targets.

Internal to GlobalLogic:

• Established a test focused community for my organisation, directing internal projects, creating training materials and case studies. Training others in preparation for client deployments and creating over 15 documents on best practices and standards.

• Responsible for collating knowledge, scheduling meetings and budgeting allowances for that test community. Including mentoring and conducting mock interviews for potential client engagements and stakeholder management.

• Actively involved in the community of the organisation as it scaled from a startup to a larger business, enabling successful culture changes and transformation while actively engaged on client site.

ECS-Digital – February 2018 - December 2021

Software Development Engineer in Test:

• Presenter and teacher for industry events (DOP) meetup group, writing training materials, labs and demos to teach others how to use unfamiliar technologies with groups of 60+.

• Sole Test Engineer on a Palantir Slate and Angular/.Net Core scheduling project, adding automation testing while managing stakeholder expectations and security challenges with C# and Specflow.

• Principal tester on a Geo-Engineering platform, engaging with customer feedback (internal) to maintain, improve and upgrade it, improving the CI/CD process to reduce time to production and adding automation testing utilising Cypress and JavaScript.

• Lead tester on a knowledge management interface, implementing automation frameworks utilising Selenium and Protractor to test the Typescript Angular Frontend and RestSharp to test the .Net core back-end.
